We have a Urban Garden advisor from Trevecca Nazarine University whose name is Jason Adkins.
We have seed and plantings available from the Trevecca greenhouse. Jason is available at the garden on most Saturday mornings at 9am.
We are an organic garden that is self funded and run by volunteers from TAG (Trimble Action Group).
Park Avenue School Garden was founded by Carolyn James as a project of the Sylvan Heights Neighborhood Association in 2004. It has evolved into a teaching garden for the school. Grades PK - 5 visit and learn from the garden. It is maintained by Carolyn James and Nancy Stetten....Real trojans in this movement and a great source of help, encouragement and information!
